why not just use the cross fader for chopping? it smoother on the transition between tracks when chopping. plus your not slamming your volume faders every other second.

The build quality on the Rev7 is much better. I have both and like them both. But it seems like they built the flx10 cheaper than the Rev7.

I used to run a DDJ400, and the sync button would take a 174 song and match it to an 86 (@ 172)... Now my XDJ RZ will take a 174 song and drop it to 86, to match the second track. Is there a workaround for this?

Worth to mention that this is good when both track are on same level of mastering and quality. If frequency especially bit mids and highs are way different it wont sounds good 😅

Only mixing a couple of bars.. Is that why you kids call it "transitions"? We used to do running mixes for ages with vinyl. Seems a bit strange to just be blending tiny bits of tracks from one to the next. More like being a jukebox than getting creative.

Hey Gustav, I have downloaded Rekordbox onto my laptop but all my music is on my iphone and not on itunes. For some reason when I sync my iphone with itunes it still doesn't recognise the 200+ songs I have. I actually hadn't used itunes for a number of years as each time I upgraded my iphone you can do it without the need for itunes. I must have went through about 4 iphones without itunes so maybe that's the problem. Do you know of any solutions to get music from an iphone outside of itunes because I'm pretty screwed for tunes if I can't and won't be able to use my new RX3?

Hi I have no experience and decided to learn, I wanted the DDJ-1000 so I only buy once but when I ordered it, it became discontinued so I upgraded it to the FLEX10 and I received it but I have been practicing from my Macbook at home. Do you think that this controller is far too advanced for a beginner?
